Skimming past a term like 'volatility' or 'rollover' is easy until it affects a decision you're about to make. Knowing what house edge actually means changes how you browse our table games. Understanding rollover tells you when a promo credit is yours to move. On the sportsbook side, knowing the difference between a moneyline and a point spread shapes how you build

a same-game parlay on an NFL Sunday. This glossary is built around the terms that show up in our lobby, our cashier, and our account settings — not a dictionary of every gambling word ever printed.

Core Casino Terms Defined

These are the six terms that come up most often when you're browsing slots, joining a live dealer table, or reading a promo in our lobby.

RTP stands for Return to Player — the percentage of total wagers a game returns over a large number of rounds. We show RTP only where the game or provider makes it available.

House edge is the mathematical advantage the casino holds on any game. A lower house edge means more of each dollar wagered statistically returns to you over time.

Volatility describes how often and how large a slot pays out. High volatility means fewer but bigger hits; low volatility means smaller, more frequent wins during a session.

A wager requirement is the number of times you must play through a credit before it converts to withdrawable funds. It is sometimes called a turnover or playthrough requirement.

A jackpot is the largest prize tier available on a slot. Progressive jackpots grow with each bet placed across all sessions; fixed jackpots pay a set amount regardless of volume.

A live dealer game streams a real human dealer running a physical table — roulette, blackjack, baccarat — to your screen in real time. You place bets through the on-screen interface.

Odds, Payments, and Account Vocabulary

These terms appear most in our sportsbook, cashier, and account verification flow — places where the wrong read can slow you down.

A moneyline bet is a straight pick on which side wins, no point spread involved. Odds are expressed as a positive or negative number — for example, -130 or +110.

Over/under, also called the total, is a wager on whether the combined score of both teams finishes above or below a number set by the sportsbook for that game.

Rollover is interchangeable with wagering requirement. It states how many times a promo credit must be played through your account before the balance becomes withdrawable funds.

An e-wallet is a digital payment account — PayPal and Venmo are the two we support — that lets you move funds without entering card details at each transaction.

KYC stands for Know Your Customer. It is the identity-verification step where you upload a government-issued ID so we can confirm your name, age, and state of residence.

A point spread is a handicap applied to the favorite to level the betting field. The favorite must win by more than the spread; the underdog must lose by less than it.

Using These Terms Inside the sweepsgram Lobby

Definitions are useful — knowing how they apply to our actual cashier, games, and sportsbook features is what makes them actionable.

Open any slot — like Gates of Olympus or Midnight Rapid Play — and check the information panel inside the game. RTP only appears where the provider makes it available; not every title shows it.

Head to account settings and tap 'Verify Identity.' You'll upload a government-issued ID. Once cleared, PayPal withdrawals process through the verified account linked in your wallet.

Open the promotions tab in your account. Each active credit shows its rollover multiplier and remaining playthrough balance so you can track progress before requesting a cashout.

Navigate to the sportsbook section and select an NFL matchup. Each game card shows moneyline, point spread, and over/under lines side by side for quick comparison before you add to your bet slip.

Each deposit uses one payment method at a time. Select Venmo or Play+ in the cashier for that transaction — you can switch between them on separate deposits without any issue.

The cashier will flag an insufficient balance before the transaction completes. Reload your Play+ card through your linked account first, then return to the deposit screen and try again.
